After taking over the command of Twitter, Elon Musk is taking big decisions one after the other. After removing several executives, including the company’s Indian-origin CEO Parag Agarwal, now Musk has also discharged all the board directors of the company. Now Elon Musk has become the only director of Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail report, the directors who have been fired include Martha Lane Fox, Omid Kordestani, David Rosenblatt, Patrick Pichette, Egon Durban, Fei-Fei Lee and Mimi Alemeyehou.

Elon Musk took over the command of Twitter on October 28. It was only after becoming the owner that he terminated Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal, CFO Ned Segal and Legal Affair-Policy Head Vijaya Gadde from the company. Not only this, Musk also got him out of the company headquarters.

Musk announced the purchase of Twitter on April 13 this year. He had offered to buy the social media platform for $44 billion at a rate of $54.2 per share. But then due to spam and fake accounts, he put that deal on hold.

On July 8, Musk decided to break the deal. Against this, Twitter had moved the court. But then at the beginning of October, Musk changed his stance and agreed to complete the deal again. Meanwhile, the Delaware court ordered the completion of the deal by October 28. Elon Musk surprised everyone by reaching Twitter’s office a day earlier.

Why was Parag Agarwal fired?

Musk accused Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal and CFO Ned Segal of misleading him and Twitter investors about the number of fake accounts on the social media platform. When Elon Musk’s deal with Twitter was completed, Agarwal and Segal were present in the office. After this he was thrown out of the office. However, there was no statement from Twitter, Elon Musk or any official regarding this.
