After the political struggle that lasted for about a fortnight in Bihar, Nitish Kumar along with Tejashwi Yadav formed the government of Mahagathbandhan. At the same time, the cabinet is being expanded in Bihar today. Nitish Kumar has reached Raj Bhavan. A total of 7 parties are involved in the new government of the Grand Alliance.
After the political upheaval in Bihar, Nitish Kumar along with Tejashwi Yadav has formed the government of Mahagathbandhan again. The expansion of the Nitish cabinet is happening on Tuesday. In which RJD is getting more ministers than JDU. At the same time, the stature of the Congress has reduced from the previous Grand Alliance government. In such a situation, the hopes of becoming ministers of many big leaders have also been dashed. JDU Parliamentary Party President Upendra Kushwaha has got the biggest setback. Along with this, many big leaders of JDU and RJD are believed to be set to get a setback.
Kushwaha is not getting entry in the cabinet?
Upendra Kushwaha, who is considered a veteran leader of OBC in the politics of Bihar, does not seem to be fulfilling the hopes of becoming a minister. Upendra Kushwaha’s name is not included in the list of possible ministers of JDU quota, while Jayant Raj, who comes from the Kushwaha community, is in the race to become a minister again. Upendra Kushwaha is considered among the leaders very close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Upendra Kushwaha formed his own party after separating from JDU, but merged with JDU after the 2020 elections. In such a situation, Nitish made him the chairman of the JDU parliamentary board while making him an MLC, but did not make him a minister. In such a situation, it was believed that he might get a chance to become a minister in the Grand Alliance government, but that too has been eclipsed. Kushwaha is not attending the swearing-in ceremony.
Shock to the hopes of many Congress leaders
In the Nitish and Tejashwi Yadav-led government, at present, only two ministers from the Congress quota will take oath on Tuesday. In such a situation, the name of Congress veteran Madan Mohan Jha is not included in the list of leaders whose names have come in the list of potential ministers. Among the leaders whose names have appeared in the Muslim leaders, only one leader can become a minister from Afaq Alam and Shakeel Ahmed. Among such Dalit leaders who are discussed, one of Murari Lal Gautam and Rajesh Ram will get a ministerial post.
Many leaders will be shocked by RJD
Most of the ministers are being made from RJD quota, but due to many political equations, the dream of many veteran leaders becoming ministers is not being realized. Only two Muslim MLAs are becoming ministers from RJD, but many leaders are in the race. In such a situation, the political equation of the Muslim leaders of RJD has been spoiled by the MLA who left Asaduddin Owaisi’s party. One of the four MLAs who left AIMIM is set to become a minister.
