India’s Women’s Relay Team Creates History at Taiwan Open 2025 with Gold Medal Win – HRDS INDIA’s Sneha Shines

In a remarkable achievement for Indian athletics, the Indian women’s 4×100 meter relay team clinched the gold medal at the Taiwan Athletics Open 2025, setting a new championship record by completing the race in 44.07 seconds.

The winning squad included V. Sudhiksha, Abhinaya Rajarajan, S. S. Sneha, and Nithya Gandhi. Their flawless coordination, seamless baton exchanges, and blazing speed helped them outpace top teams across Asia.

This triumph holds special significance for HRDS INDIA Sports Academy, which trains and supports S. S. Sneha — a key contributor to the team’s success. Just a week ago, a slightly different lineup of this team, featuring veteran athlete Srabani Nanda instead of Sudhiksha, secured a silver medal at the Asian Athletics Championship in Korea. That performance had already qualified India for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Despite the lineup change, the Indian team’s performance in Taiwan remained stellar. The four sprinters delivered a near-perfect run, leaving no room for error and beating some of Asia’s finest athletes.

Speaking on the achievement, HRDS INDIA Sports Academy Director Aji said:

“This gold is more than just a medal — it’s proof that talent, when guided and nurtured with the right support, can yield extraordinary results. Sneha’s performance has become a beacon of hope for girls from rural and tribal backgrounds.”

Spiritual guide of the institution, Guru Atmanambi Ji, added:

“Every victory like this is not just personal — it symbolizes social transformation. Sneha’s success is a win for every girl who dares to dream beyond limitations.”

This gold marks HRDS INDIA’s first international triumph in athletics, further strengthening its mission to empower underprivileged and marginalized youth across India. Based in Kerala, the academy provides world-class training and resources to tribal and economically disadvantaged athletes.

As the countdown to the Tokyo World Athletics Championships 2025 begins, India’s golden victory in Taiwan sends a clear message: the nation’s women’s relay team is fully prepared to take on the global stage.
