Kangana Ranaut was offered to work in Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’, which proved to be box office blockbusters. However, Kangana turned down both roles, which surprised Salman. Despite this, they have a good relationship. Kangana Ranaut is busy preparing for the release of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. She is doing events and giving interviews for the promotion of the film. Kangana not only played the lead role in ‘Emergency’ but has also directed this film.
Kangana Ranaut revealed in an interview to Siddharth Kannan that Salman Khan called her and told her that she has made a good film. However, Salman has not seen the film yet. Kangana has praised Salman’s kindness. Kangana recalled the time when she rejected both the films.
Kangana Ranaut said, “Salman offered me a role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I thought ‘what kind of a role is this?’ Then he approached me for ‘Sultan’. I rejected that too. He said ‘what else can I offer you now?'” After Kangana rejected the role, Kareena Kapoor worked in Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Anushka Sharma in Sultan.
Despite both the rejections, Kangana Ranaut and Salman Khan are in touch with each other. Kangana said, “Salman is very kind, he keeps talking to me. Even now, for Emergency, he said, ‘I want to see it.’ So then he sent our common friend and said, ‘You go and see what kind of film he has made.’ I showed him the film.” Salman Khan liked Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ Kangana Ranaut further said, “Then Salman Khan called me and said, ‘This is a good film.’ I asked, ‘You have got feedback but you haven’t seen it?’ Salman said, ‘No.’ He talks to me like this.” Kangana has often spoken good things about Salman Khan. Kangana’s ‘Emergency’ will be released in theaters on September 6.
